Returns & Claims

What is your return policy?

Mod Home Decor upholds a very strict return policy. Please make your purchases very, very carefully. If you change your mind about an item, please contact us at info@modehomedecor.com to initiate a return. Eligible returns are subject to a non-negotiable 35% restocking fee, in addition to outbound and return shipping and delivery charges (see exceptions below).

Items That Cannot Be Returned Include:

  • Personalized/Custom/Made to Order Items (including but not limited to replacement cushions, special-order upholstery, and mattresses)
  • Clearance Items
  • Open Box Items
  • Gift Cards
  • Samples
  • Electrical Accessories Large quantities of the same product (6 or more)
  • Items that have been assembled or installed Items marked as non-returnable
  • Items without their original packaging
  • Items postmarked 30 days or more after the date of delivery
  • Items shipped outside of the continental United States

Return Policy:

Returns requests must be received within 7 days from the delivery or pick-up date, and in original condition and in original packaging. Items not received in original condition and in original packaging cannot be refunded. Only once the item(s) have been returned to the warehouse and have been inspected by our receiving team can the refund be issued.

What if an item arrives damaged?

We stand behind the quality of the products we sell. All orders are inspected prior to shipping, however damages and defects happen once in a while. Please inspect your order at the time of delivery. If damage is noted, you must sign off with the delivery agent ā€œDamaged Upon Arrivalā€. For orders dropped off with our standard delivery service, please inspect all packaging for any defects such as tears or crush marks. It is important to note these issues on the delivery paperwork prior to signing the proof of delivery. If an item is structurally intact and usable, accept the item. If an item is structurally damaged and completely unusable, refuse the item. Damaged or defective items are typically repaired or replaced. Damages and other product claims must be reported via our online claim form within 24 hours of delivery. Damaged/Defective Items:

We understand how frustrating a damaged or defective item can be. If your item has been damaged or is found to be defective, theĀ Mod Home Decor team is happy to use every reasonable effort to work with you and find the best solution. In order to do so, you must contact Mod Home Decor within 10 days of the delivery date to qualify for resolution. To provide a resolution, we will require photos and may require the original item to be returned. If the required photos are not received by or, if required, the original item is not returned to our Returns and Claims team within 30 days of the delivery date, Mod Home Decor reserves the right to deny a refund or replacement.

Refund Options:

Refunds can be issued as either site credit or to your original form of payment. Refunds issued to your original form of payment will take three to five business days to process, depending on the financial institution.

Cancellation Policy:

Orders may be cancelled prior to

  1. Processing,
  2. Production
  3. Shipment

Some exceptions apply. Refunds for eligible cancellations will be processed after the Mod Home DecorĀ  team confirms with the manufacturer that the order has not been processed, is not in production, and has not been shipped.
